Euphemisms - A Beginners Guide - Part 1
With today's propaganda wars in full swing, it's time for a quick and easy guide to what some of these words and phrases actually mean much of the time. Phrases are a great source of Verboten content; some insensitive and some racial. Tried to have something for everyone. Enjoy. From A to F.

Acting Like Wild Indians - This means out of control. Anything that the white man could not tame, enslave or subdue was considered 'wild'.

Affirmative Action - Action which is correct ('Affirmative' means correct and 'Action' is normally good as well) Preferential treatment for a particular minority group. (See Apartheid; Racism)

Affirmative Action / Racial Discrimination - Both mean 'preferential treatment for a particular race'. However, the first is mandated by law and the second is illegal.

American Interest - The interest of American corporations. This term is used by politicians that wish to start a war without explaining the specific reasons they are doing it.

Anti-Government Groups - Groups of people that possess an irrational fear of the government. They will probably end up being arrested or killed some day and insist on using Blackberry devices.

Austerity - Elimination/reduction of social programs allegedly already paid for by prior balanced budgets.

Bipartisanship - When both sides agree. When conservatives acknowledge that liberals are right and agree to support their programs.

Blacklisted - Banned from participating in an opportunity for not supporting the common narrative.

Borders - Lines that divide one country from another. Crossing borders and forcing residents out of their land by acts of violence and living off the labours of the inhabitants (i.e. Welfare) is considered immigration.

Civilian Casualties / Collateral damage - Other countries kill their own citizens... America only damages them...by accident.

Curtail Redundancies - This means firing people to move manufacturing to Mexico.

Disinformation - This means lying to gain political support.

Diversity - Possessing a wide range of qualities. A society which accepts all types of people except for conservatives, Christians, boy scouts, capitalists, hunters, whites, etc.

Economically Depressed Neighbourhood - This really means slum, but the local municipality is hoping to draw state or federal dollars into a revitalization effort during the next election cycle.

Educated / Brainwashed - US children are "Educated" about the evils of drugs, pollution and race relations. Soviet children were "Brainwashed" in Soviet doctrine during the cold war.

Education - The process of teaching a child all he will need to know so he may care for himself in adulthood. The process indoctrinating a child with the prevailing political philosophies but neglecting to teach him how to care for himself in adulthood.

Education Reform - destruction of public education.

Embryo Reduction Procedure - This really means abortion.

Emotional Rape - This really means insult.

Enhanced Interrogation - This really means torture.

Failure - Has come to mean Deferred Success.

Fat - Replaced by enlarged physical condition caused by a completely natural genetically-induced hormone imbalance.

Feminist - One who wishes to be more feminine and wishes to protect feminine ideas and customs. One who wishes to be more and destroy differences between the sexes.

Fiscal Restraint - Unwilling to spend on social programs.

Flexible Labour Market - Mutually destructive competition for jobs.

Free Market - Has come to mean Corporate Welfare.

Freedom of the Press - Right of individuals to invade people's privacy, stalk and harass them and print and distribute false information and rumours about their private lives for profit.
